aray aray..

May 2010. after more than a year of night shifts (except when I was sent to US), i finally got to enjoy working in the morning. and because of that, i was able to play basketball again every wednesday night with ex-officemates. well, only 2 ex-officemates at that, coz most of the players came in after i resigned. anyways, after only 2 play dates, May 19, my right foot got sprained when i stepped on dondon's as i was going for a block. it was so bad that i consider it the worst pain that i got from an ankle sprain, and believe me, i've had my share of sprains during my basketball "career".

fast forward 4 months later, sept 15. i got sprained again, buti na lng this time it was my left foot. hindi papatalo ung left foot e, pantay na sila :p it's not as bad as my right foot injury last may, but still very painful. thing is, when i was in high school or even in college, when i got sprained, i wrap the ankle in a bandage overnight and wala! the next day the pain is tolerable. now 6 years after college, it takes a 4-5 days for the pain to become tolerable. tumatanda na nga ata talaga :( but.. but.. i've been using zoom kobe IV low-cut shoes, so it might explain why it's very painful and recovery time is longer than before. but.. but... when i was in high school i play basketball in tsinelas and when i got sprained it's not that bad, though hassle lang may kasamang sugat hehe. but.. but.. baka hindi lang ako sanay sa low-cut shoes so my balance using those kind of shoes is compromised and therefore very painful blah blah blah.. haha i don't know.. might be all of the above.
